It's definitely a novel that knows what it is and leans into it. ### First Impressions Initially, I was hooked. The story starts strong, with a good pace and an MC who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. There's a certain charm in watching a protagonist who's both lucky and powerful, especially when he's using that power to settle scores. If you're into face-slapping, treasure-snatching, and sending arrogant antagonists to the afterlife, there's a lot to enjoy here. ### What Works Well The author's writing skill kept me engaged, even when the plot threads felt familiar.
