After graduating, Shen NingXin became an intern at a company. The atmosphere in the company was nice, the work was relaxing, her coworkers all took care of her, except for her iceberg of a boss, who had a dark face all day and was devoid of any human feelings.
“This plan is unacceptable. Change it again.”
“What’s the matter with this form? How many times have I told you before?”
“If you can’t finish it today, don’t think about leaving tonight.”
Shen NingXin felt as though she must’ve committed a great sin in her last life to have such an unlovable boss in this one.
Until one day . . . she stumbled upon her boss’ Weibo alt account.
—After work today, nobody invited me for the group dinner. I’m so sad.
—Xiao Zhang went on a vacation and secretly brought back souvenirs for everybody, but there was nothing for me. I saw it all. QAQ
—Shen NingXin hasn’t talked to me the entire day. Did I make her hate me by scolding her too harshly yesterday . . .
If it weren’t for seeing the pictures in the photo album, Shen NingXin would’ve never believed that this was actually her boss.
It turned out that the iceberg was really a crybaby all along.
What was even more unexpected was that she was topped by such a crybaby and . . . couldn’t resist it.

## My Thoughts on Miss President is a Crybaby
"Miss President is a Crybaby" initially struck me as a title that could go either way – endearingly cute or gratingly annoying. Having now finished the story, I can confidently say it leans heavily towards the former, delivering a heartwarming and often hilarious office romance that I thoroughly enjoyed.
### First Impressions
My first impression was definitely shaped by the title. I was a bit hesitant, fearing an overly childish or irritating female lead. However, I quickly found that the "crybaby" aspect is more of a hidden vulnerability beneath a cool CEO facade, which is much more palatable. The setup, with the MC discovering the FL's secret, private online persona, is immediately engaging and sets the stage for a sweet and funny dynamic.
### What Works Well
The heart of this novel lies in the relationship between the two leads. The dynamic between the seemingly cold President and her subordinate is genuinely funny. I found myself smiling constantly at their interactions and the way the MC gently coaxes the FL, fully aware of her hidden, fragile side. The slow-burn romance is well-executed, allowing both characters to grow and overcome their individual issues. The story doesn't shy away from addressing deeper themes like trust issues and emotional vulnerability, adding a layer of depth to what could have easily been just pure fluff. I also appreciated that the premise wasn't just a one-off gag; the MC's knowledge of the FL's "trumpet" account played a significant role throughout the story, adding both humor and plot relevance.
### Areas of Concern
While I loved the overall story, I can see how some might find the pace a bit slow. The initial stages of their relationship take time to develop, and a few plot points might feel slightly repetitive. I also found some of the side characters and world-building to be a little underdeveloped.
### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning
Okay, so there's a scene where the FL misunderstands a situation and thinks the MC doesn't smile at her as genuinely as she does with others. This leads to a super-emotional crying scene, which is both heartbreaking and a turning point in their relationship. Also, the reveal about the MC finding out that FL has multiple boxes of milk so she can still grow taller is pretty funny.
### Final Verdict
Despite a few minor drawbacks, "Miss President is a Crybaby" is a delightful and heartwarming yuri novel that I wholeheartedly recommend. It's the perfect read when you're looking for something fluffy, cute, and genuinely feel-good. The characters are lovable, the romance is sweet, and the humor is spot-on. I'm giving it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars – a truly enjoyable and satisfying read that left me with a smile on my face.
