So when his family tries to pressure him into marrying one of the most infamous royals, Duke Austin, he agrees. After I Got Married, Those Who Betrayed Me Were Reborn Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on *After I Got Married, Those Who Betrayed Me Were Reborn* This web novel is quite the ride! It blends fantasy, romance, and even a dash of sci-fi into a surprisingly compelling story. While it has its flaws, the unique dynamic between the main characters really hooked me. ### First Impressions Initially, I was a bit hesitant. The premise—reborn betrayers and arranged marriages—seemed like familiar territory. However, the early chapters quickly established a distinct world and intriguing characters. I was particularly drawn to the unusual circumstances surrounding the marriage between our protagonist, Ruan Tang, and the "evil" Duke Alston. ### What Works Well The core of this story is undoubtedly the relationship between the MC and ML. Many readers, including myself, found their dynamic incredibly captivating. The fact that Ruan Tang, the Omega, actively pursues the Alpha, Duke Alston, is a refreshing twist on the typical Omegaverse trope. Duke Alston himself is a fascinating character. He's initially presented as a cruel and disfigured madman, but beneath the surface lies a surprisingly pure and insecure heart. Watching Ruan Tang break through his defenses and heal his insecurities is genuinely heartwarming. I also appreciated that the novel challenges the typical power dynamics of ABO stories. Pheromones don't dictate everything, and Alphas are capable of consent and self-control. ### Areas of Concern While I enjoyed the novel overall, there were a few aspects that didn't quite land for me. The plot can get a bit convoluted, and some elements, like the reborn characters, feel underdeveloped. I felt that the villains were often one-dimensional and easily dealt with, which diminished the impact of their actions. Also, the "sci-fi" tag feels a bit misleading. The futuristic setting is barely explored, and the story often falls into familiar palace drama tropes. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning Some readers might find certain plot points problematic. For example, the ML's initial hostility towards the MC can feel unnecessary and even childish. Also, some found the ending somewhat abrupt and wished for more exploration of certain side couples. ### Final Verdict Despite its flaws, *After I Got Married, Those Who Betrayed Me Were Reborn* is a worthwhile read, especially if you're looking for a unique and heartwarming romance in the ABO genre. The strong characters, unconventional relationship dynamics, and overall positive message make it a memorable and enjoyable experience. I'd recommend giving it a shot, but be aware that it's not without its imperfections.
