## My Thoughts on Descendants of the Gods "Descendants of the Gods" is quite the ride! I went in expecting a fairly straightforward apocalypse omegaverse story and came out the other side feeling like I'd experienced something much deeper and more complex. The way the author blends mythical fantasy elements with a futuristic, apocalyptic setting is fascinating. I particularly enjoyed the incorporation of gods, mythical beasts, and the unique power systems. The characters are also well-developed, with their own distinct layers and backstories. The main couple has a compelling dynamic; the cunning MC and the seemingly cold ML both have their own traumas to work through, and their relationship, while not always easy, felt very rewarding. I also appreciated the plot twists and narrative techniques the author employed to keep things interesting. ### Areas of Concern I did find the pacing a little uneven at times. Some sections felt rushed, particularly towards the end, making the final confrontation feel somewhat anticlimactic. I also felt that some characters faded into the background for extended periods, which was a little jarring.
