Xiao Zhou always felt that he and Jiang Chengyuan were using each other. Jiang Chengyuan was infatuated with his pheromones, using his body to break free from pheromone control. Meanwhile, he wanted to obtain parole, needing an Alpha to be his guardian to deal with regular checks and reports. All of this was taught to him by Jiang Chengyuan, who told him to be gentle and patient, and to atone for his mistakes. So when he regained his Alpha status, he breathed a sigh of relief, feeling that the bizarre relationship between him and Jiang Chengyuan should end. But Jiang Chengyuan still waited for him downstairs, still liked to hug him from behind as before, rubbing his gland with the tip of his nose, gently biting with his teeth. Clearly unable to mark anymore. Xiao Zhou felt uncomfortable all over due to the clash of two types of Alpha pheromones, but Jiang Chengyuan said in a hoarse voice, “So this is your scent.” Due to body modification, changed from Alpha to Omega, will change back later. Reservoir Dogs Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator

## My Thoughts on Reservoir Dogs "Reservoir Dogs" dives deep into a morally gray world, and I found myself completely engrossed, despite some reservations. This omegaverse story, set against the backdrop of the legal system, offers a complex relationship between the leads and intriguing plot twists that kept me turning the page. ### First Impressions Initially, I have to admit, the male lead (ML) was a hard sell. He's arrogant, and his actions definitely raise eyebrows. However, as the story unfolded, I began to understand the complexities of his character. The author did a great job of revealing his layers, making him more than just a detestable figure. On the other hand, the MC, Xiao Zhou, is immediately likeable – a seemingly simple person with a strong sense of justice and a caring heart. I quickly became protective of him. ### What Works Well The character development is definitely a strong point. Neither lead is perfect, and their flaws make them feel incredibly human. I also appreciated the exploration of the legal system and the questions it raises about justice. The author doesn't shy away from difficult topics, and the narrative feels grounded, despite the omegaverse setting. The plot is well-woven, and the side characters are surprisingly complex. The tension between the "good" MC and the selfish, obsessive ML is riveting, and the unbalanced power dynamic is very much in line with the ML's personality. ### Areas of Concern There are definitely some aspects that gave me pause. The ML's actions are, at times, truly questionable, and I can see why some readers might find him irredeemable. I felt the power imbalance was a permanent fixture in the relationship. Also, the plot and pacing start to derail as the end nears. I found it hard to reconcile some of the MC's actions with his supposed "goodness," especially when he seems to condone the ML's behavior. ### ⚠️ Spoiler Warning Some readers were put off by a particular scene where the ML leaves the MC to what could have been a terrible fate in a fighting ring, only to return when the MC wins. Others felt that the plot took a strange turn in later chapters, with characters acting out of character and plot points feeling rushed or nonsensical. ### Final Verdict Despite its flaws, "Reservoir Dogs" is a captivating read. The well-developed characters, intriguing plot, and exploration of complex themes kept me engaged. However, the ML's problematic behavior and some late-stage plot issues prevent me from giving it a perfect score. I'd recommend it with a word of caution: be prepared for a morally ambiguous journey and a flawed, but ultimately compelling, relationship.
